Professor Maia Manchkhashvili, PhD, is a distinguished academic based in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she actively contributes to the field of Political Science. She holds a Doctor of Political Science degree from Tbilisi State University (TSU) and currently serves as an Associate Professor at multiple esteemed institutions, including Georgian Technical University, St Andrew's University of Georgia, and Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University.

An advocate for regional collaboration and development, Professor Manchkhashvili co-founded the Georgian Neighborhood Institute at TSU on 4 April 2021.
