Publication Fees & Instructions
MS Word is the preferred format for submission of text documents. Paper copies are not accepted. Submissions should be between 3,000-8,000 words, though exceptions will be considered. The manuscript has to be written in one of the Institute’s working languages. An informative abstract of 300 words or more is required for all submissions. For non-Georgian authors, the editorial board offers to prepare Georgian translations of their English abstracts.
All articles must be submitted in standard format: adequate margins and a single column for the page format A4, font size no smaller than size 11 in Times New Roman for English, and AcadNusx for Georgian texts. The article must be typed in 1 spacing between lines.
Submission should be organized according to the guidelines below:
-
Full name of the author(s): first name, middle name, last name format;
-
Academic degree;
-
Place of occupation, position, and institution (employer);
-
Contact details (Email, country of residence);
-
Main publications;
-
Fields of interest or professional achievement;

-

-

11. Abstracts in English and Georgian (including the full name of the author(s), academic degree, and the title of the article in each language).
When a manuscript has more than one author, the complete information about each co- author (guideline values 1-6 and 11) must be submitted with the article.
Footnotes are not accepted. Instead, the number from the reference list and the relevant pages are used for citation purposes. As appropriate, authors are allowed to use endnotes, which should be grouped in a separate section immediately proceeding the References.
The journal accepts the Oxford Referencing Style as its citing guidelines:
-

the website where the book has been found;
Electronic Journal Articles: Same information provided for journal articles (see instructions above) and DOI-number (Digital Object Identifier). If there is no DOI- number, include the URL of the article and date of access; -

The accuracy and completeness of the references are the responsibility of the author. Failure to submit accurate and properly formatted references may delay review and publication. References to unpublished material may be included. If such material may be of help in the evaluation of the paper, copies should be made available to the copy editor.
Figures, tables, charts, images, and illustrations should be submitted in a form suitable for reproduction online and in print. The pictorial content should be embedded in the article
file (at a resolution of 300dpi or higher, in either .JPG, .GIF, .PNG, or .TIF format) to facilitate the peer-review process.
Images for eJournal should be submitted as separate, high quality, uncompressed image files. Image file names should be as precise as possible, and a corresponding marker should be placed within the manuscript to identify the placement of each image. Image captions, as appropriate, should be included in square brackets in the manuscript immediately following the marker.
All figures, such as charts and graphs, should be submitted as MS Excel (.xls or .xlsx) files. Multiple charts or graphs may be submitted as separate worksheets in one Excel workbook file. Figures and tables should be clearly labeled, with appropriate captions listed directly under each figure or table. There should be clear markers within the text to identify the placement of each figure or table.
Microsoft Equation 2.1 must be used for creating formulas.
Authors are encouraged to submit supplementary audio-visual materials (podcasts, screencasts, etc.) to illustrate the techniques or practices discussed in their articles. Such additional material will be posted alongside published articles in BRAMS eJournal. If subjects other than the author(s) are pictured in the video, signed releases from the video participants will be required before videos are posted to the journal web page.
Multimedia supplementary files should be submitted as separate high-quality files. Audio files should be in .PM3 format; video files should be in either .AVI, .MP4, or .MOV format. If authors wish to submit multimedia files in alternative formats, please do consult the editorial office prior to submission.
