In Memory: J.R.R. Tolkien

On this day in 1892, J.R.R. Tolkien was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa. An English writer, poet, philologist, and academic is best known as the author of the fantasy works The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion.

As he said, "all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us". Since today would be his 130th birthday, BRAMS Institute offers to either read or reread one of his works or watch a film based on one of his fantasy books.

Viktor Saneyev, 76, died of a heart attack in Sydney, Australia, far away from his beloved homeland and the people who hearted Viktor Saneyev during his lifetime and will forever cherish the memory of this incomparably great person.
