Moral Capitalism and the Democratic Party

Michael Kazin, a professor of history at Georgetown University and editor emeritus of Dissent magazine, will lead a conversation about aspects of moral capitalism and the Democratic Party. He is currently completing a history of the Democratic Party to be published in March of 2022 by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. He 

Led by Morrison Family Director of the Institute for Freedom and Community Edmund Santurri, this conversation is the final event for the St Olaf’s Institute for Freedom & Community's autumn speaker series, Capitalism, Freedom, and Community.

The conversation will be aired virtually and followed by an audience Q&A. This event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required. Tickets are not required to access the live stream.
