BRAMS Legacy Book
Institutions have a duty to recognise individuals who have made significant cultural, political or scholarly contributions. BRAMS honours those who have advanced British, American, and Georgian studies and seeks to pass their names and life stories to new generations. As the 12th-century Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli observed, "It will not hurt if we never forget our well-wishers" („არ-დავიწყება მოყვრისა აროდეს გვიზამს ზიანსა“). We proudly commemorate those closely linked to our mission as the roots of the Institute's continuing work.
