On 24 September 2018, Voice of Georgia will start a new radio program Ambris, presented by Professor Maia Nadareishvili at 14:00 on Mondays.

Concert: Katie Melua

The Georgian-British singer and songwriter, Katie Melua will have a concert on her own birthday night in Old Tbilisi. She will perform with her band, which includes Katie's younger brother, Zurab Melua, and the Gori Women’s Choir (founded in 1970).

Attendance at the event is free, first come first served.

Obituary: DF Brewer

Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Sussex, Douglas Forbes Brewer, aged 93, died peacefully at home on 16th July 2018. Devoted husband and father, valued colleague and dear friend will be missed by many.

Half of the BRAMS Institute staff members had the pleasure of knowing Professor Brewer in person, working with him and enjoying casual conversations about many other topics apart from science as he was a bright and intelligent person to talk to.
