Biomimicry Innovation Lab is a York-based design agency that helps brands to create sustainable and innovative solutions with nature-inspired intelligence and strategies. Nadathur Group, a Family Office (FO) with a presence in India, Singapore, and the UK, focuses on building new businesses and supporting entrepreneurship (angel & venture investments), especially in long gestation, high-risk, innovation-based ventures.

Lannan Foundation and Haymarket Books present a public lecture on The Consequences of Capitalism, by noted Professor Noam Chomsky.

The speaker will discuss the brutal realities laid bare by the COVID-19 pandemic – and the urgent need for an alternative to capitalism. Covid-19 has revealed glaring failures and monstrous brutalities in the current capitalist system. Our reality represents both a crisis and an opportunity and thus, the future depends on the actions that we the people take into our own hands.

American Studies Institute at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University presented a public lecture on The Supreme Court of the United States and its modern challenges, by George Labadze.

The speaker demonstrated the crucial function of the American Supreme Court in fulfilling constitutional control by discussing the important cases and precedents and current challenges that the Supreme Court of the United States faces.

George Labadze also discussed the controversies towards such issues as abortion, the death penalty, and the positive discrimination in American society. In the end, the speaker reviewed the facts of discrimination against minorities.

Director of the Joint Media Platforms at the Illinois State University School of Communications, Dr Nathan Carpenter, held a public lecture at Grigol Robakidze University on 4 December.

The American researcher has significant work experience in the media. He discussed social media and modern digital technologies. He reviewed Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, explaining the scope of their functioning and visualising their current development and prospects. Dr Carpenter also talked about issues related to teaching, critical thinking, and a pedagogical approach.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute present the very first Levan Mikeladze Memorial Lecture on Georgia on its way towards European integration, by Levan Dolidze, the Chair of the Board of the Georgian Centre for Security and Development.
