Data processing using IBM SPSS STATISTICS
Starting on 17 May 2024, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University is organising a training course titled "Data processing using IBM SPSS STATISTICS". The course is aimed at academic staff and doctoral students who wish to develop their research skills. The course will be led by Makhare Atchaidze, a sociologist, analyst, and researcher from Caucasus Research Resource Center Georgia.
The course will consist of seven lectures, each lasting 2.5 hours. The lectures will cover various topics such as:
- Introduction to SPSS (types of data and databases)
- Data transformation
- Descriptive statistics and visualization
- Two-dimensional analysis
- Hypothesis, and hypothesis testing
- Correlation
- Regression
