Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge celebrates his sixth birthday today. The third in line to the throne was born at 16:24, weighing 3.8 kg, in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington.
The young royal wore the white England football home outfit as he posed for official portraits taken by his mother. The England football team sent their well-wishes to the future king, complimenting him on his Three Lions t-shirt: “Great choice of shirt! Have a brilliant birthday, Prince George!”
Three photos have been released for the world to see the 43rd monarch-to-be since William the Conqueror who will obtain the crown of England if the succession plan develops as expected.
It is supposed that he is going to celebrate with his parents, Kate and William, and siblings Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1, at a low-key party.
