Today, Koba Tsakadze, the most decorated Georgian ski jumper, celebrates his 90th birthday.
While Pelé, the renowned Brazilian footballer, was valued at 800,000 USD, Koba Tsakadze received an official valuation of 1 million USD as a sportsman. Known as the 'Flying Torpedo,' Tsakadze exemplified unwavering principles and a strong commitment to his homeland, never contemplating a move to a wealthier Western country. Nevertheless, he frequently travelled the globe, first as an athlete and later as an international referee or guest of honour.
The BRAMS Institute wishes Mr Tsakadze a very happy birthday!
