From 4 to 6 November, traditional Tbilisi Book Days were held in the Hall 11 of ExpoGeorgia.
Booklovers could participate in literary events and purchase books from local and international shops or publishing houses. These were fascinating three days for Georgian readers and visitors to the capital of Georgia.
Each book stood unique, thus publishing them was significant for society. However, we will mention two new editions of old works that also landed on the shelves of the BRAMS library this November.
Rezo Inanishvili's book "From An Old Note" is a collection of autobiographical stories and memos. It is a collection of essays, some of which are published for the first time. This year readers will discover the writer Inanishvili as an artist, too. His wonderful storytelling language fascinates and involves any Georgian reader to read about his childhood and family.
The book of the 15th-century French poet, François Villon, includes the main works of the legendary author – Little Will, Great Will, and the Ballads. Because Professor David Tserediani perfectly grasped the essence of Villon's poetry, he could present his flawless translations of this brilliant French poet to Georgian readers in their native language.
