From 13 to 17 November 2023, the Second International Science Week was held at Sulkhan-Saba Orbelian University. The university hosted professors from France, America, Jordan, Poland, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.
On 13 November, Science Week began with the official opening. The president of the university, Father Akaki Chelidze, welcomed attendees. The vice-president of the university, Professor Dimitri Gegenava, talked about current activities at the university and future plans.
The representatives of the French Embassy attended the event: Camille Nora, Advisor to the French Ambassador in Cultural Affairs and Director of the French Institute in Georgia, and Alexandra Richter, Attaché of University and Scientific Cooperation, as well as acting Polish ambassador to Georgia, Mariusz Pietrzak.
