British Professor visits the child institute at GRUni

Working visit

On 10 June 2019, BRAMS Institute arranged an official meeting between Professor Jeremy Ramsden, the founding member of the Institute and staff member of the University of Buckingham, and the President of Grigol Robakidze University, Professor Mamuka Tavkhelidze. The staff members of BRAMS Institute, who are also founding members of the American and British Institute at GRUni, the Director of the American and British Studies Institute, Professor Maia Nadareishvili, Professor Diana Tkebuchava, and Professor Khatuna Kacharava attended the official meeting.

During the meeting, the British and Georgian participants praised the brilliant work conducted by the new Institutes and their director, Professor Maia Nadareishvili, during the first year since their foundation. The attendees discussed future collaboration between the scholars of the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the sides exchanged honorary diplomas and souvenirs.
