AmStud Conference 2022
Institute of American Studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the Georgian Association for American Studies hosted the 23rd International Annual Conference on American Studies from 19th through 21st May.
In 2022 the conference marked the 30th anniversary of the 30-year diplomatic relationship between Georgia and the United States.
Traditionally, there were several sessions chaired by Georgian professors, and the local researchers were joined by American colleagues – some in person, others online.
The 3-day conference concluded with the round table where hosts and guests, both Georgian and American, discussed achievements and current challenges the American studies face in the different Institutes and research centres of American Studies in Georgia.
