Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute presents a public lecture on Cinema & Politics, by Kakhi Kenkadze.

The scientific researcher at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs within Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences is going to discuss the interaction between cinema and politics after the birth of the film industry. He shall present some vivid examples of the controversial relationship between the world’s biggest movie stars and the government’s policies.

The Last Battle of Geronimo – Past and Present of the Apache

Doctor of History, Professor Mikheil Barnov from the Institute of American Studies at Tbilisi State University presents significant results of his research about the Apache.

The speaker lived among the locals on the Mescalero Apache Reservation (Otero Country, New Mexico) for a few months, researching their past and observing their present. He has documented unique information about Apache’s lifestyle, culture, and habits for the last 150 years.
