Lessons of Democracy
Institute of American Studies presents Vasil Kacharava’s new book “Lessons of Democracy”.
Head of the Institute of American Studies, President of the Georgian Association for American Studies, Professor Vasil Kacharava is going to discuss his new book “Lessons of Democracy: Political History of the United States of America 1877-2008”, and give an account about the work done by the Institute of American Studies.
The book presentation will be attended by President of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University George Sharvashidze; Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Batiashvili; Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Georgia, Elizabeth Rood; also, other honorary guests and professors.
